FAQ
A few of your questions answered to save you some time

Will we have a consultation?

Stefan will visit you in your home to discuss your vision for the day. He will go through any special requests that you have, and use his experience of what works to help tailor his work to your day. Closer to the day Stefan will need to visit again to go through the finer details, making sure the story of your day is captured just how you want it.

Will you visit the venue?

Yes. Stefan’s vision for your day relies on knowing where the best shots can be captured; he likes to have a venue firmly in his minds eye before the day. To ensure that you get all the images you want and that your requests can be carried out Stefan will need to liaise with the venue closely and make sure any access needed is in place. Obviously some venues are well known and may not require a visit but if Stefan feels that your requirements are slightly different to the norm he will gladly visit again to ensure that the day goes as smoothly as possible.

What photography format do you use?

Stefan believes that the image quality and versatility that professional digital cameras bring to a shoot is second to none. Digital images are far easier to work with if you require any special effects or retouching, and this service is offered as part of his packages. Stefan also has professional printers installed, ensuring that every part of the image making process from shutter to album has had the critical eye for perfection cast over it.

I’ve seen photos that I love can you recreate them?

It helps Stefan immensely if you have ideas about how you would like your images presented. However it should be borne in mind that your wedding is unique and Stefan will want to capture all the hard work you have put into making your day a reflection of you. He will always go that extra mile to ensure you get the lasting memories you deserve.

Do you work with an assistant?

Yes, Stefan almost always works with an assistant. They free him from the ‘house keeping’ part of photography such as keeping lenses and memory cards in order, without an assistant it’s all to easy to miss a photo opportunity. The assistant will also take photographs with a second camera when they are not otherwise occupied.

When will my images be ready?

Stefan aims to prepare the proofs (6x4) and upload the images to his website as soon as possible but you should allow 14 days. If however you don’t want your images on his site until you return from your honeymoon that can be arranged. The proofs are yours to keep and do not have ‘proof’ embedded into them, of course they won’t have been colour corrected or touched up like the final prints. Stefan can liaise closely with you to help you decide on your images for your album or you can just leave him to tell the story, either is fine.

Can I buy re-prints or duplicates of my album?

All of your images will be put on Stefan’s website so that your guests can view them at their leisure; re-prints can be ordered directly from there in various sizes, they will also be available in black and white or colour. Re-prints for yourself can be ordered directly from Stefan who will be happy to provide them with a discount. Extra albums can also be ordered in this way. Stefan can also supply canvases and other special prints. If you’ve seen something you like let him know and if he doesn’t already supply he’ll try his hardest to accommodate your needs.

Will you travel to cover my wedding?

Stefan will be happy to travel almost anywhere in the world, obviously if this involves leaving the country the cost of flights and hotels will be passed on! These costs can be discussed in your initial consultation. Some parts of the U.K. are further than is sensible to travel in one day and may require an overnight stay; if this is the case accommodation will be charged at the rate for a local hotel. Fuel will be charged at cost for venues that are more than 50 miles from Stefan’s home.
